Former Senator Kabiru Marafa has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, labeling him as a leader who only uses people for his own benefit and later abandons them.
Marafa, who recently left the All Progressives Congress (APC), made the statement during an interview with Channels Television on Monday, September 1.
He argued that the way former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, ex-APC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and himself were treated is proof that Tinubu only benefits from people and later discards them.
In his words: “Looking at how El-Rufai, Ganduje, and I were treated, it is now clear that President Tinubu is a use-and-dump leader.”
Marafa, who served as the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Coordinator in Zamfara State during the 2023 elections, officially announced his resignation from the APC over the weekend.
He further vowed to reduce Tinubu’s votes in the 2027 presidential election, stressing that he is determined to take away one million votes from the President’s total.
“I promise you today that I will remove one million votes from the President’s tally. I will work towards it and by God’s grace, I will succeed,” Marafa declared.
