10 men arrested ‘for sexually abusing six children aged between 13 and 15’ over three year period

Ten men have been arrested in Bradford following serious accusations of child abuse. The alleged crimes involve six children who were between 13 and 15 years old when the abuse reportedly happened.

West Yorkshire Police stated that the suspects are aged between 49 and 71. All of them have been questioned and released on bail while further investigations are ongoing.

The alleged abuse happened a long time ago, between 1994 and 1997, in the Bradford area. All six victims were teenagers during that period.

Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank said the police are fully committed to protecting children. She explained that the investigation proves the police force takes both recent and old reports of child abuse seriously.

She described child sexual abuse as a terrible and harmful crime that deeply affects vulnerable young people. DCI Greenbank also pointed out that fighting abuse requires teamwork and cooperation between the police, support organisations, and other partners.

She added that the police work closely with these groups to help victims heal, catch those responsible, and ensure communities are safer.

DCI Greenbank urged anyone who has experienced sexual abuse—whether recently or many years ago—to speak up. She promised that victims will be heard, supported, and taken seriously by trained professionals.
