Russia has delivered about 13 tons of humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, to Iran.
The shipment was transported through Azerbaijan, where it will be handed over to Iranian authorities.
According to officials, the aid was sent on the directive of Vladimir Putin.
The Russian Emergency Ministry stated that the delivery focused mainly on essential medicines to support affected communities.
This assistance comes at a time of rising regional tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
The ongoing conflict has increased humanitarian needs, making international support efforts more important.
