EPL: Four teams will fight for title this season – Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that this season’s Premier League title race will involve at least four strong contenders. Speaking ahead of City’s clash with Aston Villa, Guardiola refused to rule out Liverpool and emphasized that the title picture will become clearer after several more matches.

Currently, Manchester City sit three points behind league leaders Arsenal, while Liverpool are just four points off the top. Guardiola explained that it’s too early to make firm conclusions about which teams will stay in the race, as the season is still unfolding. He noted that every team is showing strength and consistency in the early stages.

In his words, Guardiola said, “I’ve said many times that pundits and specialists know what’s going to happen after five games — I can’t. After ten or fifteen games, you start to see the real picture. Liverpool and Arsenal are there, someone else will be there, and hopefully, we can be there too.”

The City boss acknowledged the competitive nature of this season’s Premier League, where top teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all shown strong form. He also hinted that another surprise team could emerge as a serious challenger as the season progresses.

With the title race heating up, football fans are eagerly watching how the top clubs will perform in the coming weeks. As City prepare to face Aston Villa and Liverpool travel to Brentford, the next few fixtures could play a major role in shaping the standings.
