Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has joined English Premier League club Fulham on a season-long loan from AC Milan, with the option for a permanent move next year.
The 26-year-old completed his medical on Deadline Day and officially signed the loan deal, giving Fulham the chance to keep him permanently in the summer.
Chukwueze will join fellow Nigerians Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Fulham, moving from AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.
After signing, he said, “I’m really happy to be here. Fulham is an amazing club, and it already feels like home with my teammates around me. I can’t wait to get started.”
Fulham co-owner Tony Khan added, “We are thrilled to welcome Samuel Chukwueze. He is a fast and talented player with valuable experience in Europe and for Nigeria. We are excited to see him perform for the club this season.”
Chukwueze joined AC Milan two years ago but struggled to show his best form, scoring only four goals in 51 Serie A matches. He will wear the No.19 shirt during his stay at Fulham.
