Nigerian skit maker and comedian, Raji Samad Adetola, better known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has sadly passed away after a fatal accident.

He was involved in a serious car crash along the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Ibadan on Monday morning.

The news spread fast on social media, with pictures and videos showing the wrecked car inside a ditch.

Sanku was traveling with a friend, and both were rushed to the hospital but were later confirmed dead.

The young comedian was popular for his creative storytelling style. He started making content in 2021 and quickly built a strong following.

Nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa, shared on Instagram that she asked one of her students who lives near Bowen Hospital to check on him. At first, she was told he was responding to treatment.

She said she prayed against death, but sadly, Mr Sanku Comedy later passed away.
