Obi Visits Anglican Comprehensive School & Anglican Hospital, Donates ₦10M Each

Peter Obi has continued his mission to fight poverty by supporting important sectors like healthcare and education. After attending the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV in Rome, he returned to Nigeria feeling energized by the Pope’s call to take serious action against poverty.

Shortly after landing in Abuja, Obi visited the building site of the Anglican Hospital in Kubwa. The hospital is a medium-sized health center being built by the Anglican Diocese of Kubwa. Obi praised the efforts of Rt. Revd. Duke T. Akamisoko, the leader of the project, and donated ₦10 million to help complete the hospital.

He also visited the Anglican Comprehensive Secondary School, which was started by the same church group. Obi spoke about how education is one of the most important tools for development. To support their work, he donated another ₦10 million.

Peter Obi said health, education, and lifting people out of poverty are the best ways to build a stronger future for Nigeria. He promised to keep supporting these areas to help the country grow and develop.

He ended his visit by saying, “A New Nigeria is POssible.”
