G-Unit rapper Young Buck arrested and booked into Tennessee jail over missed bond meetings

Rapper Young Buck, known for being part of G-Unit, is back in jail due to missing important bond meetings in Tennessee. The rapper, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was booked into Sumner County Jail on Monday afternoon. He is now set to serve a 30-day sentence.

Young Buck had to meet with his bond supervisor twice a month as part of his release conditions. He was facing two legal cases: one related to drugs and the other to domestic violence. He was also under GPS monitoring.

However, he failed to attend his required check-ins multiple times. As a result, the Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County, Eric Mauldin, said that the D.A.’s office filed a motion, which led to a court hearing on April 7. The judge decided to send Young Buck to jail for 30 days.

After serving his sentence, Young Buck will attend another hearing to see if a new bond will be set for him.

This arrest is just the latest in a series of legal issues for Young Buck. He was arrested in Nashville in February 2022 for allegedly damaging his girlfriend’s car.

In 2016, he spent a weekend in federal jail after violating probation for allegedly threatening to burn down an ex-girlfriend’s apartment. He also served an 18-month sentence in 2012 for illegal gun possession.

These ongoing legal troubles continue to affect Young Buck’s music career, with more court decisions coming in the near future.
