LaLiga president Javier Tebas has shared his thoughts on who should win the 2025 Ballon d’Or. He believes two standout players deserve the honor this year.

The winner of the Ballon d’Or for 2025 will be announced in September.

Last year, the award went to Rodri, a midfielder from Manchester City. He finished ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. to win the top prize.

This year, Tebas gave a clear answer when asked about the award. He named Barcelona’s young talent Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. as his top choices.

Tebas said that the award should go to either Yamal or Vinicius, showing strong support for both players.

Lamine Yamal had a great season with Barcelona. He helped the team win LaLiga and the Copa del Rey. He also played a key role in leading Spain to the final of the UEFA Nations League.

Vinicius also had a solid season for Real Madrid. However, his team did not win LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, or the Champions League this time around.
