Taye Taiwo inducted into Marseille’s Hall of Fame

Taye Taiwo, the former Nigerian footballer, has been inducted into Olympique Marseille’s Hall of Fame. The club announced this exciting news on their social media, celebrating his remarkable achievements as a player.

Taiwo first joined Marseille in January 2005, moving from a Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) team. The left-back quickly became an important figure for the club, playing a total of 271 matches. Over the years, he scored 25 goals and assisted 23 others.

During his time with Marseille, Taiwo helped the team win the prestigious Ligue 1 title, as well as the French League Cup and French Super Cup. His solid performances earned him a transfer to Serie A’s AC Milan in 2011.
