France calls for immediate de-escalation of war in Lebanon

The government of France has called for an immediate reduction in hostilities in Lebanon as tensions and violence continue to rise in the region. French officials warned that the growing conflict could worsen the humanitarian situation and threaten stability across the Middle East.

French authorities urged all parties involved in the conflict to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could lead to further escalation. The government stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomatic solutions to prevent more destruction and loss of lives.

France also reaffirmed its support for international efforts aimed at restoring peace in Lebanon. Officials said protecting civilians and critical infrastructure must remain a top priority as the conflict continues.

The country further called on global partners to work together to calm the situation and encourage negotiations. France emphasized that lasting peace can only be achieved through cooperation, diplomacy, and respect for international law.
