The Oba Abimbola Owoade has praised several prominent Nigerians for their contributions to the country. In separate messages, the monarch celebrated the achievements of Olusegun Obasanjo, Enoch Adeboye, and Taiwo Oyedele.

While marking the 89th birthday of Obasanjo, the Alaafin described the former president as a remarkable leader whose wisdom and dedication to public service have shaped Nigeria’s history. He noted that Obasanjo’s commitment to unity and national progress continues to inspire many people.

The monarch also celebrated the 84th birthday of Pastor Adeboye, praising his spiritual leadership and decades of service to the Christian community. According to him, Adeboye’s life reflects faith, humility, and dedication to guiding millions of believers around the world.

In addition, the Alaafin congratulated Taiwo Oyedele on his appointment as Minister of State for Finance (Designate). He expressed confidence that Oyedele’s experience in tax policy and public finance would help strengthen Nigeria’s economic reforms and financial system.
