Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has advised women not to think that cooking, cleaning, or bedroom styles are what keep a man in a relationship.
In a post on Instagram on Monday, September 15, 2025, Sidika said: “No amount of cooking, cleaning, cartwheels, monkey styles can EVER keep a man. Stay woke, sisters.” She stressed that focusing too much on house chores or intimacy does not mean a man will stay faithful.
Her advice goes against the long-standing belief that a woman’s worth in a relationship is judged by how well she takes care of the home or satisfies her partner. Sidika explained that many women push themselves too hard trying to keep their men, only to still face cheating or heartbreak.
The mother of two is known for openly sharing her thoughts on love, marriage, and relationships. She often uses her personal journey to encourage women to value themselves more. In this latest post, she reminded women that true love and commitment come naturally from a man — and not because of the sacrifices or extra efforts a woman makes to hold the relationship together.
