Tinubu calls Dangote, Otedola, Rabiu, Ovia ‘four wise men’

President Bola Tinubu recently showed his appreciation for some of Nigeria’s top business figures. At an event in Lagos, he referred to them as the “four wise men,” recognizing their major contributions to the country’s economy.

The occasion was the official opening of the access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port, one of Nigeria’s biggest infrastructure projects. Speaking at the ceremony on Thursday, Tinubu said he arrived at the event with some of Nigeria’s brightest minds in business.

He mentioned Jim Ovia, founder of Zenith Bank, who is known across the world for his success in banking. He also spoke fondly of Femi Otedola, calling him his “baby brother,” and praised Samad Rabiu, the chairman of BUA Group, for his bold efforts in business.

Among the four, Tinubu highlighted Aliko Dangote as the wisest. He commended Dangote’s courage, big ideas, and strong belief in Nigeria’s future. According to Tinubu, Dangote stands out for always thinking big and putting his plans into action.

In a touching moment during the event, Dangote named the main road leading to his refinery after President Tinubu, showing his respect and appreciation.

Many important people attended the event, including Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru, and others. It was a day filled with praise for leadership, business growth, and national pride.
