The Obidient Movement has responded to rumors saying that Peter Obi has agreed to be Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s running mate for the 2027 election. They say this information is not true.

The movement explained that although they are having talks with partners about working together, there is no deal for Peter Obi to join Atiku’s team. The reports are false and made up.

Peter Obi wants to bring people together to fight problems like bad government, corruption, hunger, poverty, poor healthcare, and children not going to school. He believes in politics that help people, not just politics that want power for power’s sake.

Right now, Peter Obi is still part of the Labour Party. If he ever changes his party, he will tell the public himself.
