LAGOS, Nigeria — Nigerian rapper and singer Olamide has released the official music video for his latest single, Burukutu, giving fans a fresh taste of his signature street-inspired sound ahead of his forthcoming album, Time & Space.

Released on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, through his YBNL Nation label, the song arrives alongside a music video directed by renowned Nigerian filmmaker TG Omori. The release marks another move by the award-winning artiste to keep fans engaged as anticipation builds for his next studio project

Burukutu draws attention with its distinctly Nigerian title, referencing a traditional alcoholic beverage popular in parts of the country. The track also reinforces Olamide’s longstanding connection to street culture, indigenous expressions and contemporary Nigerian music.

Over the years, Olamide has built a reputation for blending Yoruba expressions, catchy hooks and street-inspired rhythms with modern Afrobeats and hip-hop. His influence on Nigeria’s music industry extends beyond his recordings to his work with YBNL Nation, the label behind several successful artistes.

The new single serves as a lead release from Time & Space, which is scheduled for November 16, 2026. The forthcoming project follows his self-titled album, Olamidé, released in June 2025.

The release also comes as Olamide prepares for his scheduled headline concert at London’s O2 Arena on March 25, 2027, marking another major milestone in his international career.
