Afrobeats artist Babatunde Rahim, known as Lyta, has warned his fans that he may quit making music if they don’t stream his songs. In a recent Instagram live session, the singer shared his frustration, saying he is struggling financially and needs more support from his fans.
Lyta, who became popular in 2018 after signing with YBNL Nation, mentioned that he is going through tough times and has even lost weight because of stress. He joked, “If you stream my music, I will gain weight,” showing how much he depends on his fans’ support.
He explained that he can produce more music but needs the money to keep going. Lyta also expressed his disappointment that his previous attempts to return to YBNL after leaving in 2019 had not worked out.
With his future in music uncertain, he made it clear that if his songs aren’t streamed, he may stop releasing new ones altogether.
