Popular Nigerian actress Annie Idibia, now going by her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, has spoken out for the first time since separating from her husband, singer 2Face (Innocent Idibia).

Annie and 2Face got married in 2012 but separated in January 2025. Since 2Face announced their split on Instagram, Annie had remained silent and even deleted all her previous posts. However, on March 27, 2025, she returned to social media and thanked her followers for their love and support during this difficult time.

In her message, she expressed gratitude to her family, friends, and fans, saying,

“To my family and friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world, God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you, and I don’t take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favor. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay.”

While she has removed 2Face’s surname from her posts, her profile name still reads “Annie Idibia1.” Fans are now watching closely to see if she will make further changes.
