Nigerian rapper Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, better known as Jeriq, has shared why he has never been in a romantic relationship at 25.
Speaking in an interview with Glich Africa, the ‘Secure The Bag’ crooner said he doesn’t believe in love between a man and a woman. He explained that while he loves his family and friends, he doubts if a lady can truly love and stay loyal to only him.
Jeriq stated that if he ever finds someone who is honest and faithful, he might give love a chance. However, he believes such a perfect relationship is unlikely.
“I have never been in a relationship since I was born,” he said. “I don’t think a girl can love and be loyal to just me. If I find someone who is, I will love her too. But I know it’s not possible. So, I don’t believe in love.”
Despite his current views, the rapper admitted that his mindset might change as he gets older. “I’m still young, so let’s see what happens,” he added.
