Seriake Dickson has criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress, saying the party has failed to improve Nigeria since taking power.
Speaking during a television interview, the senator said the APC was mainly formed to remove the People’s Democratic Party and former president Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, without a clear plan for governance.
According to him, the promise of “change” that brought the APC to power has not produced the expected results. He argued that change can be positive or negative, adding that the country appears to have moved in the wrong direction.
Dickson pointed out that major sectors such as the economy, security, and anti-corruption efforts have not improved under the current administration. He stressed that Nigerians are still facing serious challenges in their daily lives.
The lawmaker also raised concerns about alleged financial mismanagement, noting that discussions around public funds now involve very large sums, which he believes reflects poor accountability.
Looking ahead to 2027, Dickson called on Nigerians to reconsider their political choices, urging them to support leadership that can deliver better governance and real progress for the country.
