UCL: Why PSG won’t be happy to face Liverpool in quarter-final – Arne Slot

Manager Arne Slot has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain may not be comfortable facing Liverpool FC in the Champions League quarter-final. His comments came after both teams secured their spots in the next round.

Liverpool progressed after defeating Galatasaray, while PSG advanced by eliminating Chelsea FC. The stage is now set for a high-profile encounter between two strong sides.

Slot reflected on previous meetings, noting that Liverpool had struggled away from home against PSG last season. He admitted that his team was outplayed during that encounter.

However, he also pointed out that Liverpool gave PSG a tough challenge overall. According to him, the Reds were the only team that pushed the French side to extra time and penalties.

The Dutch manager believes Liverpool’s recent performance shows improvement. He added that PSG will likely be cautious heading into the quarter-final clash.

The fixture is expected to be one of the most exciting ties in the UEFA Champions League, with both teams aiming for a place in the semi-finals.
