US school shooter linked to ISIS terrorists from Africa

A shooting at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, has raised serious security concerns after the suspected gunman was linked to a past terrorism case. Authorities identified the attacker as Mohamed Jalloh, who opened fire inside Constant Hall on Thursday morning.

According to officials, the suspect entered the university building and began shooting, leaving at least two people injured. Security operatives at the scene quickly responded and shot the attacker, preventing further harm.

Reports revealed that Jalloh had previously been convicted in 2017 for providing support to ISIS. Despite the conviction, he was reportedly released from prison in December 2024.

The incident has sparked criticism from members of the Republican Party, who argued that the suspect should not have remained in the United States. Authorities have launched further investigations into the shooting and the suspect’s background.
