The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has claimed that Donald Trump may play a role in political changes affecting some African leaders. In a statement released through his aide Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric said the United States may not act in favour of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ayodele argued that actions by the US government could create more political pressure in Africa rather than offer support. According to him, Nigeria should not assume that foreign involvement will automatically benefit the country’s leadership or political stability.
The cleric also raised concerns about security challenges in several parts of Nigeria. He mentioned locations including Abuja and states such as Benue State, Kano State, and Sokoto State, urging authorities to strengthen surveillance and preparedness.
He further advised the Nigerian government to take stronger action against insecurity. Ayodele stressed the need for proactive leadership within the military and security agencies, warning that improved intelligence and rapid response are essential to prevent attacks and protect national stability.
