Nigeria won’t surrender to troublemakers – Tinubu vows

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will not surrender to people trying to create unrest and disrupt national peace. He made this statement during an Interfaith Iftar meeting with religious and traditional leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The President emphasized that the government remains committed to protecting Nigeria’s unity and independence despite ongoing security challenges across the country. According to him, the fight against insecurity is progressing.

Tinubu explained that terrorists and criminal groups are becoming desperate as security forces continue to push them back. He expressed confidence that Nigeria will ultimately defeat those responsible for violence and instability.

He also thanked Nigerians for the opportunity to serve the country, promising to continue working with loyalty and dedication. Tinubu added that his administration remains focused on improving national stability and governance.

Speaking on the economy, the President said there are early signs of recovery. He noted that some citizens, especially older people, are beginning to experience gradual relief from economic pressures.

Tinubu urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and united, stressing that the government will continue working toward lasting peace, economic growth, and a stronger nation.
