Prominent economist and political commentator, Pat Utomi, has expressed deep concern over the current state of Nigeria, describing the country as being in a “complete mess.” He highlighted issues such as poor governance, insecurity, and economic mismanagement as major challenges facing the nation.
Utomi criticized the slow pace of reforms and called on leaders to prioritize effective policies that improve the living standards of Nigerians. He stressed that citizens are feeling the impact of inadequate infrastructure, rising inflation, and declining public services.
According to Utomi, urgent action is required to stabilize the economy, enhance security, and restore trust in political institutions. He urged both government officials and civil society to work together to address these pressing national issues.
He concluded by emphasizing that without swift and meaningful interventions, Nigeria risks further deterioration, and the well-being of its citizens could continue to decline.
