Iran strikes Dubai International Airport in UAE

Operations at Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended after a drone attack struck near the terminals on Saturday, causing panic among passengers. Airport authorities activated air defenses, and travelers were guided into train tunnels as a safety measure.

Eyewitnesses reported explosions and smoke over the airport, while residents across Dubai also heard multiple blasts. Emirates Airlines announced that all flights to and from the airport were suspended until further notice, with affected passengers offered rebooking or refunds.

The United Arab Emirates government said an investigation is ongoing to determine the drone’s origin and assess if more threats exist. Security measures at critical infrastructure across the country have been heightened in response.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, urging residents and travelers to remain cautious as investigations proceed and airport operations remain temporarily disrupted.
