The father of Israel DMW, Israel Afeare, has passed away at 71. The late Mr. Afeare Eric, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, died on March 2 in Ibadan after a brief illness.
Israel DMW, an indigene of Edo State, described his father as his pillar of strength and credited him for keeping the family united. He expressed sorrow over losing his father, saying, “It is sad losing my father at this time. We still need him with us, but God knows better.”
The deceased is survived by two wives and eight children. Israel recalled his father’s role in maintaining family unity and providing support throughout their lives.
Fans and colleagues have sent condolences, mourning the loss alongside Israel. His father’s legacy as a dedicated public servant and family patriarch was highlighted by his close relatives.
