Kwara United Football Club has officially appointed Ashifat Suleiman as the new Technical Adviser, following his brief spell as interim coach. The announcement was confirmed by the club’s management on Wednesday in Ilorin.
Suleiman took over temporarily after the dismissal of former coach Tunde Sanni and has since led the team to one win, one draw, and one loss in three matches. His performance during the interim period reportedly impressed the management, leading to his confirmation as head coach.
Speaking after his appointment, Suleiman expressed deep appreciation to the club for trusting him with the role. He promised to work closely with his technical crew to strengthen the team’s performance and meet the club’s set goals for the season.
The new coach emphasized teamwork and discipline as the foundation for success, assuring fans that he is committed to returning the team to winning ways. “I’m grateful for this opportunity and determined to give my best for the club,” he said.
Kwara United are scheduled to face Rangers International at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu this weekend, as they look to build momentum under their new technical adviser.
