‘I lost job opportunities because of my looks’ – Zic Saloma opens up on nose surgery

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Zic Saloma, has opened up about his decision to undergo nose surgery, revealing that it stemmed from years of insecurity about his looks. In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram, the entertainer said he lost several job opportunities in the entertainment industry because of his appearance, which pushed him to consider cosmetic surgery.

According to Zic Saloma, the decision was not just about looks but also about regaining confidence and feeling comfortable in his own skin. He explained that the surgery has helped him rebuild his self-esteem and feel more ready to embrace new roles and opportunities in his career.

He went on to encourage others who can afford safe cosmetic procedures to go ahead with them if it will help them feel better about themselves. “I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it,” he said.

The comedian revealed that he had the rhinoplasty procedure in Turkey, which also included a facelift and eye rejuvenation. The entire surgery lasted over four hours and cost around $11,000, though he did not pay for it as it was done through a collaboration with the hospital.

Zic Saloma, who is widely known for playing multiple hilarious characters in his skits, said the transformation has made him more confident and optimistic about the future, expressing gratitude for how far he has come in his personal and professional life.
