Lagos State Domestic And Sexual Violence Agency Celebrates 4-Year Anniversary

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has celebrated its 4th anniversary, highlighting progress in the fight against gender-based violence.

The agency, established to provide support, advocacy, and justice for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, has over the years offered rescue operations, counseling services, legal aid, and public awareness campaigns.

Speaking during the anniversary, the agency reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships with civil society groups, law enforcement, and health institutions to ensure victims receive proper care and justice.

The DSVA also called on Lagos residents to continue speaking out against abuse, stressing that silence only fuels violence.

Over the past four years, the agency has become a safe haven for survivors, offering not just help but also hope, as it continues to push for a society free of gender-based violence.
