Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has voiced his displeasure with manager Ruben Amorim after the Red Devils were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 61-year-old former goalkeeper said he has not seen any real progress at Manchester United since Amorim became manager last year.
Schmeichel urged Amorim to change his tactics and system if he wants to get better results with the team.
Speaking to Metro UK after the match, Schmeichel said: “When I look at this Manchester United team, it feels like nothing has changed. Manchester City didn’t even need to play at their best.”
He went on to advise Amorim to go back to a four-man defense so that the players can perform in a way they are familiar with.
The heavy defeat against Manchester City now leaves Manchester United in 14th place on the Premier League table after just four games this season.
