Erika, the wife of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has spoken about her husband’s tragic death, calling the killer an “evil person.”
She said those behind his death do not understand the impact of their actions, stressing that Charlie’s vision and movement will continue.
Charlie Kirk was shot and killed in Utah on Wednesday while attending an outdoor event.
According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the shooter has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
In an emotional live video, Erika described Charlie as a wonderful husband and a loving father.
She said, “The evil people who carried out this attack don’t realize what they have done.”
Erika added that her husband’s mission will not be destroyed, insisting that she will fight to keep it alive.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump confirmed that a suspect had been caught after an intense search.
Trump also revealed during a Fox News interview that the arrest was possible because someone close to the suspect reported him.
