I’ve no regrets leaving Chelsea – Jackson finally breaks silence

Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese striker on loan from Chelsea, has finally spoken after his move to Bayern Munich.

He joined the German champions on a season-long loan after dropping down the pecking order under Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.

The move nearly collapsed on transfer deadline day when Liam Delap got injured, but Bayern and Chelsea quickly agreed on fresh terms to make the transfer possible.

Speaking to TuttoSport, Jackson explained that signing for Bayern brought him great joy. He said he was excited to join one of the biggest clubs in the world, explore a new league, and play with top players.

At the same time, he admitted that leaving Chelsea made him feel a little sad because of the bond he had with his teammates and the fans.

Jackson also praised Maresca, saying he respects him and learned a lot from his coaching ideas and style. He made it clear that he has no regrets about leaving Chelsea, only gratitude for his time at the club.
