Former Super Eagles players, Victor Ikpeba and Samson Siasia, have shared their predictions for the upcoming World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Rwanda.
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in a key World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Saturday.
Before the match kicked off, Siasia and Ikpeba spoke to Super Sports about their expected results.
Both former internationals are confident that Nigeria will win, predicting a 2-0 victory for the three-time African champions.
Nigeria must secure a win in this match to keep their chances alive for qualifying for next year’s World Cup in the United States.
Siasia said, “I’ll say 2-0,” while Ikpeba also backed a similar outcome, adding, “Yeah, I’ll go for 2-0 for Nigeria.”
A victory against Rwanda will ensure Nigeria stays in contention for a spot at the 2026 World Cup.
