I would love to retire with Lionel Messi – Luis Suárez

Inter Miami striker Luis Suárez has revealed that he hopes to retire at the same time as his best friend, Lionel Messi.

The two stars, who once formed one of the most dangerous partnerships at FC Barcelona, have reunited in the U.S. and continued their journey together at Inter Miami. After two seasons at the club, Suárez believes their story is still not finished.

In an interview with the club’s website, the Uruguayan spoke openly about his plans. He explained that both he and Messi are at a stage where they will decide their futures based on family and personal goals. According to him, retiring together has always been a dream, but it depends on the decisions they each make.

Suárez added that he feels happy and physically strong at Inter Miami. He said that if the club wants him to retire there, he has no problem with that decision.

Reflecting on his performances, Suárez admitted that there are moments when he feels he could give more to the team. He noted that football is full of ups and downs, but what matters most is helping Inter Miami grow stronger, win matches, and fight for titles.

The striker concluded by saying that nothing is certain in football, but for now, he is focused on enjoying this stage of his career. He wants to make the most of his time on the pitch and see what the future holds, especially alongside Messi.
