Cristiano Ronaldo has given his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, a jaw-dropping diamond engagement ring valued in the millions.

The famous couple confirmed their engagement on Monday, August 11, after nearly 10 years together, sharing the news with fans on Instagram.

Georgina celebrated the moment by posting a photo showing off her sparkling ring, captioning it with the words, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”

According to Laura Taylor, a ring expert at Lorel Diamonds, the piece boasts an oval-cut diamond estimated between 15 and 20 carats. Oval diamonds are admired for their brilliant sparkle, which shines from every angle.

She explained that the main stone is paired with large side diamonds, adding extra brilliance and making the centerpiece look even more impressive. The diamond is most likely set in platinum, a strong metal that also enhances the stone’s colour, giving it a timeless appearance.

Taylor described it as one of the most remarkable rings seen in recent years, perfectly fitting for one of football’s most iconic couples.

If the diamond is natural and of the highest quality, with top colour grading (D-F) and flawless clarity, its value could easily surpass £1.5 million.

Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, added that the ring features an oval diamond possibly weighing over 10 carats, and maybe even as much as 15. It is flanked by two smaller oval diamonds, each weighing around 2–3 carats.

She noted that the platinum setting features double claw prongs on each corner, and depending on the diamond’s quality, the ring could be worth several million dollars.

The couple shares two children, and Georgina is also stepmother to Ronaldo’s other three kids. Fans have often speculated about when they would marry, and now, at 40, Ronaldo has finally proposed.
