Russian mogul who called Ghislaine Maxwell his soulmate is found de@d in Moscow home after his name is mentioned in Epstein files

A Russian businessman and former senator, Umar Dzhabrailov, has been found dead in his Moscow apartment. Local reports said he was discovered with a gunshot wound, and authorities are treating the case as a suspected suicide. No note was reportedly found at the scene.

His death came weeks after his name appeared in newly released documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Emails from 2001 showed communication between Dzhabrailov and Ghislaine Maxwell about meeting in Moscow. The nature of their relationship has not been fully explained.

In past comments, Dzhabrailov described Maxwell as someone very close to him and said he had been introduced to Epstein through her. He later expressed shock over Maxwell’s conviction in connection with Epstein’s crimes.

The incident has drawn fresh attention due to the timing of his death and the renewed focus on the Epstein case. Russian authorities have not announced further details as investigations continue.
