A tragic event has shocked the Ogwashi-Uku community in Delta State, Nigeria. A man known as Ability sadly lost his life in a motorcycle accident just hours after he narrowly escaped being kidnapped.

According to a human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday night, the incident began on Monday, July 28. Armed kidnappers had tried to get into Ability’s home, but they were stopped in time.

Gwamnishu posted a video showing how Ability’s gateman bravely shut the gate to stop the kidnappers from getting inside. In the clip, the gunmen are seen firing at the gate while the gateman quickly locks it to protect his boss.

Unfortunately, after surviving that scary moment, Ability got into a motorcycle accident the next day while he was on his way to visit his wife. Sadly, he didn’t survive the crash.

In a video accompanying the post, Ability was seen lying lifeless in a casket. Gwamnishu wrote;

“Mr Ability that escaped kidnapping yesterday died this evening by motorcycle accident. This morning we were in his house, Ability gave me Four Cousin and appreciated me for the work I do. This evening, he told them to carry him with motorcycle to visit his wife and had an accident that took his life.
