Buhari’s death painful but we can’t question the will of Allah – Gen. Abubakar mourns

Former Nigerian Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari. He described Buhari as a true patriot who played a key role in Nigeria’s political and economic growth.

Abubakar said the late president will be greatly missed by his loved ones and the entire country. He offered prayers for God to forgive Buhari’s sins and give him eternal rest.

Quoting a verse from the Quran, Abubakar said, “From God we came and to Him we shall return.” He admitted the loss is painful but added that people cannot question the will of Allah.

He described Buhari as an honest and committed leader who served Nigeria faithfully. According to him, Buhari was a sincere and patriotic man, and his passing is a great loss, especially now.

Abubakar also mentioned Buhari’s strong efforts to fight corruption, both as a military ruler and a civilian president. He noted that these actions left a lasting impact on the country.

He praised Buhari for being a unifier, a fair leader who didn’t favor any group or tribe. He added that Buhari was always working to keep Nigeria united and peaceful.

Finally, Abubakar prayed for Buhari’s soul, asking Allah to grant him a place among the righteous in Aljannah Firdaus (the highest level of Paradise).
