Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Turkish club Galatasaray on a permanent deal, signaling a big change in his football career.
The news was first shared by Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, who is said to be very close to Osimhen and has often shared accurate updates about the Super Eagles striker.
According to Laba’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Osimhen has already given his approval for the move. He wrote: “Exclusive: Victor James Osimhen says YES to Galatasaray and wants to continue with the Turkish Team.”
Reports suggest that Napoli, Osimhen’s current club, has spent the past few weeks trying to persuade him to stay. However, the striker appears firm in his decision to leave.
Osimhen has reportedly made it very clear that he is not interested in remaining at the Italian club any longer and is ready for a new chapter.
Right now, Galatasaray and Napoli are in talks, trying to sort out how the Turkish club will pay Osimhen’s release clause so the transfer can go through officially.
More details about the deal are expected to come out soon as negotiations continue.
