A user on X recently caused a stir by accusing popular Nigerian singer Davido of promoting cultism through a recent post he made online.

This particular fan, who claimed to admire Davido, shared his disappointment over the singer’s behavior. He said Davido was going too far and seemed to be supporting cultism openly.

“I love Davido and all that. But I’ll say it again, he’s always overdoing at times. Today he’s actively encouraging and promoting cultism. Smh. Omooo.”

He didn’t stop there. The fan also criticized other loyal fans of Davido, saying they defend the singer no matter what he does—even when it makes no sense.

“As for una wey be real fan, make una continue dey defend some nonsense shey ee gbo.”

However, Davido didn’t hold back in his reply. He responded with a short and bold comment:

“That one nah ur papa business.”
