Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen is said to have told his Galatasaray teammates that he was heading to Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria for his summer break.

This was shared by well-known Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar during an appearance on the Yeni Açık YouTube channel.

Çınar explained that the striker privately informed some players about the possible move, although he noted that Osimhen might have changed his mind afterward.

Osimhen’s loan stay at Galatasaray ended with the close of the 2024/25 football season.

Now that his time at the Turkish club is over, the Napoli forward is expected to make a permanent transfer, but he hasn’t decided which team to join yet.

He has been linked to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, as well as European teams like Juventus, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
