FC Midtylland Signs Nigerian Striker Friday Etim from Portugal

Nigerian footballer Friday Etim has officially joined FC Midtylland, a top club in the Danish Superliga.

The 23-year-old forward made the move from Portuguese side CD Mafra to the Danish team, known as the Wolves.

Etim has committed to a four-year deal with FC Midtylland, showing the club’s belief in his potential.

The talented striker began his professional football journey in Portugal with Vizela in 2022 before switching to CD Mafra the following year.

While at CD Mafra, Etim made 33 league appearances and scored seven goals, making a strong impression in Portugal’s second division.

Now, the Nigerian star is excited to begin this new chapter with his new team.

Speaking to Midtylland’s official website, he said, “I’m really happy to be here. It’s a big step up for me, and I’m both grateful and motivated to seize the opportunity.”
