Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu is close to joining Turkish club Trabzonspor on a full transfer, according to DAILY POST.

Trabzonspor had shown strong interest in keeping Onuachu after his good performance while on loan during the 2023/24 season.

During his loan spell, Onuachu scored 15 goals in 21 league games, helping the team a lot.

Now, Trabzonspor and English club Southampton have agreed on an €8 million fee to make his move permanent. This was shared by well-known transfer reporter, Fabrizio Romano.

The club is now talking with Onuachu to agree on personal terms before finalizing the deal.

The move will be completed once Onuachu passes his medical test.

Southampton had signed Onuachu in January 2023 from Belgian club KRC Genk before loaning him out.
