EFCC arrests seven suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested seven people in Abuja who are suspected of being involved in internet fraud.

These arrests were made on Thursday, June 19, during a carefully planned operation. The EFCC acted based on reliable information that linked the suspects to online scam activities. The operation took place in Lifecamp and Kubwa, two areas in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.

According to the EFCC, the team found and seized eight expensive cars, high-end laptops, and mobile phones from the suspects during the operation.

The commission also said that the suspects will be taken to court once their investigation is completed.
