Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a notable political figure, shared an update about his latest trip. He announced that he just landed in the United Kingdom this morning, flying with Nigeria’s own Air Peace airline from Lagos to London. According to him, this marks almost the twelfth time he has used the airline for his UK travels.
In his message, Obi showed deep appreciation for Air Peace. He thanked the management and staff for their consistency, professionalism, and the excellent service they continue to deliver. He noted how reliable the airline has been on this route, giving them credit for their performance.
Obi used this opportunity to speak directly to Nigerian political leaders and elites. He encouraged them to strongly support local businesses. He reminded everyone that doing business in Nigeria isn’t easy, especially in sectors like transportation, where the cost of running operations is very high.
He also pointed out that Nigerian companies don’t need harassment or intimidation—they need support and encouragement. Businesses that create many jobs are key to growing the economy and helping the country move forward. Supporting them means supporting the future of Nigeria.
Obi ended his message with a hopeful statement: “A new Nigeria is possible.”
