President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in newly appointed officials to important government bodies. This happened during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held on Monday at the State House in Abuja.
The swearing-in took place at the beginning of the FEC meeting. President Tinubu led the session and welcomed the new officials into their roles.
Two new Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) took their oath of office. They are Mallam Tukur Abdulrazaq Yusuf, who will represent the Northwest region, and Professor Sunday Nwambam Aja, who will represent Ebonyi State.
In addition, President Tinubu also swore in two members of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) board. The new members are Ikpeme Kenneth Ndem from Cross River State and retired Justice Buba Ibrahim Nyaure from Taraba State.
These appointments are part of the government’s efforts to strengthen important institutions in Nigeria.
