A student group called Education for Accelerated Development (EAD) has strongly criticized Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah for making false claims against Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
Atiku, who claims to be the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), recently accused Seyi Tinubu of kidnapping and torturing him because he refused to accept a bribe. He also said Seyi Tinubu tried to stop the NANS leadership inauguration in Abuja by sending thugs to scare people away.
However, the student group EAD responded by saying Atiku is not the real NANS President. In a statement from their National Coordinator, Dr. Abdulkadir Fuad, the group called Atiku an “impostor” who is pretending to be a student leader just to get attention.
They also questioned why he didn’t report the alleged kidnapping to the police if it really happened.
The group added that the official NANS President is Olusola Ladoja, who is legally recognized by Nigerian students.
