Vinicius Jnr closing in on committing his future to Real Madrid by signing a new deal

Vinicius Jnr, the star player for Real Madrid, is reportedly close to signing a new contract with the Spanish club. Since joining Real Madrid from Flamengo for £38 million when he was just 18, Vinicius, now 24, has scored 105 goals and provided 79 assists. He has also won 14 trophies with the club, including two Champions League titles.

Despite his contract running until 2027, there has been plenty of speculation about his future, with several clubs, including teams in Saudi Arabia, showing interest. Earlier this year, rumors claimed that Vinicius had rejected an initial contract offer from Real Madrid.

In addition, reports suggested that a Saudi Arabian club offered him a massive five-year deal worth £830 million, with the bonus of becoming an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

However, according to Marca, Vinicius is set to end the uncertainty by agreeing to a new and improved contract with Real Madrid. The report states that the new deal will likely run until 2030, and both Vinicius and the club are aligned in their plans for the future. The club is confident that the new contract will be signed soon, potentially before the end of the season.

Earlier this year, Vinicius expressed his desire to stay at Real Madrid for the long term. He stated, “I have a contract until 2027, but I have always said that I want to play here for a long time, to make history, and to receive the love of the fans, the president, all the players, and the coaching staff. I hope in the next few days all negotiations will be resolved, and I can stay for much longer.”

With this new deal, it seems likely that Vinicius will continue to make his mark at Real Madrid for many more years.
