A woman living in Warri South, Delta State, is lucky to be alive after heavy rain damaged her apartment in just 20 minutes.

She shared a video online showing how the rain destroyed parts of her home. The ceiling (POP) fell in and landed on her bed, leaving a large hole in the roof. Pieces of bricks from the building also fell inside her room.

Outside, a tarpaulin used as a carport fell down. Plastic chairs and other household items were scattered all over the compound.

The short but strong rainfall caused big damage, and people are shocked at how quickly it happened.
